Yogasūtras Immersion in Greece
June 24-29, 2025
Join us for a Summer Retreat in Greece, on the exquisite island of Aegina. This retreat will be led by Dr. Seth Powell and guest local yoga teacher Evi Tassa. YS 217 | The Gorakṣaśataka: Hundred Verses of Gorakhnāth
May 6 - July 13, 2025
The Gorakṣaśataka is a Sanskrit text in a hundred verses that was written around 1200 CE, probably somewhere in the Deccan region of India. As its name indicates, its teachings are attributed to the famous yogi Goraḳsa. It was written by an unnamed yogi who says he has experienced its rewards himself. Those rewards are liberation and siddhi, which are achieved through the conquest of the mind. Join Dr. Mallinson in his close reading and analysis of this unpublished text as he prepares his translation for publication.
