Yogic Studies Scholarships

Scholarship opportunities to financially support Yogic Studies students. All are welcome to apply.

We are proud to offer a number of different financial scholarships to our students depending on need, background, and interest of study. Please explore the following programs to see which best fits your situation.

Advanced Certificate Scholarship Program

We are pleased to offer an annual Advanced Certificate scholarship in support of our students working toward the Yogic Studies Advanced Certificate Program. Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to their continued studies as well as an active involvement (or interest in becoming actively involved) in the Yogic Studies community.

Scholarship recipients will be granted 50% off of the tuition for all Yogic Studies course offerings for one year, including the YS Membership Program (monthly or annual subscription) and language courses including Sanskrit or Hindi.

Award recipients are additionally eligible for a YSACP registration fee waiver, if they have not already enrolled in the program.

The 2023 application cycle is now closed. Applications for 2024 will open in October of 2023.

Monastic Scholarship

Students who have dedicated themselves to a life of monastic service, prayer, and contemplation within a recognized monastic community of any religious affiliation are cordially invited to apply for a monastic scholarship at Yogic Studies. Recipients will be granted 50% off of the tuition for all individual Yogic Studies course offerings, including Language programs (does not include the YS Membership program).

Applicants may submit a short letter of request explaining their monastic commitment and course interests by email to [email protected]. Cannot be applied in conjunction with an Early Bird discount.

Student Scholarship

Students who are currently enrolled in a university program are eligible to request a 20% discount for any course relevant to their discipline.

Applicants may submit a short letter of request to [email protected]. Must provide proof of active enrollment. Cannot be applied in conjunction with an Early Bird discount.

South Asia Residency Scholarship

Students who currently reside full-time in a South Asian country (e.g. India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, etc.) are eligible to request a 25% discount for any individual Yogic Studies course offering, including Language programs (does not include the YS Membership program).

Applicants may submit a short letter of request to [email protected]. Must provide proof of residency. Cannot be applied in conjunction with an Early Bird discount.

Financial Need Scholarship

Students who are eager to deepen their knowledge who are unable to finance their studies are encouraged to compose a short letter of request explaining their academic interests and financial challenges by email to [email protected].

Awards will be granted based on level of interest and degree of need, and are limited in number.

Language Work-Study Program

Students who have a strong interest in learning a language may apply for a work-study position within their language program of interest. Work-study students must demonstrate stellar attendance, strong internet connection, and a commitment to reliability. In exchange for the service of recording and uploading all live class sessions in a timely manner, work-study students will receive a full tuition waiver for their term of service.

Applications for the 2023-2024 Elementary and Intermediate Language programs have now closed. Applications for 2024-2025 will open in Spring 2024.
