FREE Class | Reading the Odyssey in Greek
Instructor:Â Dr. Antonia RuppelÂ
Date: July 17, 2026, 10 am–12 pm PT
Course Description
When Christopher Nolan's blockbuster film The Odyssey arrives in theaters this month, audiences around the world will encounter one of the most enduring stories ever told. But long before the big screen—nearly 2,700 years ago—this tale of wandering, homecoming, and human resilience was sung aloud in ancient Greek verse.
This summer, Yogic Studies invites you to go back to the source of the epic.
Join Dr. Antonia Ruppel, one of the world's foremost teachers of ancient languages, for a FREE two-hour class in which we will read a carefully selected passage from Homer's Odyssey in the original Greek—together, line by line, with full guidance and discussion.
